I don't have the Xede controlling the meth. I have the V390, and have the 3 bar Map sensor, and voltage regulator. Do I have a problem now?? Or can you guys recommend an easier way? Thanks again for all the help!

No, you don't have to do anything. You do have to use my map and adjust. With out a table controlling the Meth the wire that you use to feed the meht controller will have a constant 2-2.5 volts. this will cause the systems to spray at 50% all the time. With a table loaded it will spray correctly. So if you see the status light 1/2 way on all the time the table is not loaded correctly. I put a switch on the power to the meth so I can shut it off with out messing up my knob setting when I run 93 only.

I posted my dyno graphs. AFR and Boost ar on there. Two pulls 93 and two pulls 93 + meth. in post #6.

If you control the meth with the xede you can get rid of the MAP Sens and voltage reg. That is why I got the AMS system so it would interface the xede without the MAP and all that extra stuff. The green wire from the controller goes to the Xede and the programmed output of the xede does it all for you. Basically the Xede is the MAP and the voltage regulator.

is there a way we can incorporate a failsafe if the xede is controlling the spray? or do we still have to use a flow monitor like the dds3? oh and STICKY THIS THREAD! only thread i've seen where we can get all the alky/vishnu info in one!

Agree on the sticky, responses like this are priceless, kinda like finding the upsidedown airplane stamp at a garage sale!! So I am NOT good to go? I need to get a flow monitor now? the dds3. I never heard of that.

I just have the Xede/Xede flash, and the launch control wire. plugged into the Xede, but the map is not downloaded/enabled. Great Question EvilBlue!!

there isn't a fail over (YET). there will be a add on box to do that with compliment the xede. It wasn't ready for my dyno day last month so I installed it the normal way. Right now I can toggle my Xede between my pump map and my pump with meth map and toggle the meth on and off from 2 switched I installed. I would be glad to help someone copy my setup. There are important things to remember about meth, if you run out or have the system off and go WOT with the meth map loaded, you will run about as bad lean as you could ever run. I would guess it would be about as bad as a 100 shot of NOS without tuning for it. At full spray the meth goes QUICK. We had to refill it on the dyno due to low level. The low level light will be your new best friend. Put it somewhere that you will see it.

Soon the meth box from Vishnu will be out and all these concerns will be answered with a FIX.

Read more here abou the dyno day...

Hi Cajun, hi Smoke!!! Been away from the forum for a while but since racing season is back and the weather is nice I am perusing the site and found this informative thread. Cajun great number, I can't believe those number.!!Wow. I definitely will hook my meth kit back up and try your map even though I have the SMC kit but it does have progressive spray so will tried it out. When shiv tune my car with meth back at Dynoformance last year I was only able to pick up 20 hp. if you remmember. One question though is when I was looking at your meth map there was only five map. where is the smart fuel map? Don't you need this map? can I use your agressive fuel and timing table with the smart 6 maps.?
Smoke how are you? Look like you got rid of the evo gremlin and you car is back for some diner special "smoke mustang" will you be running any nasa events? i will try to make it to nasa at putnam in may if not then late august with bmw.

I was looking to see if I will be in ATL durring the dyno tune next week. I might get to stop in and say hi.

To answer the issue of the missing tables... The xede has a limit to how many maps/tables it can store at any time. with SMART the other blank cannot hold another SMART map.. So, my 93 pump map (315 awhp) has SMART and my 93 with Meth (353 awhp) does not have SAMRT. I will also be adding a table for NLTS and Launch this weekend. that way I can have both maps in the xede and flip between the two.

Is there enough room on your second meth map for the conditional logic? (protection if the meth runs out)

oh yeah i forgot this. when looking at your picture of setting up the xede to control the alky controller, it shows pin four on the black plug going to the controller. but if you look at the pinouts on xmap 3.2, you see that pin 4 on the black plug is crank in. according to the map setup, drive output one controls the alky controller. isn't that pin 7 on the black plug?
