Xede/Xede flash Dynoed. Meth NOT dynoed. A ??
My kit is going in like your diagram Cajun, will keep you posted. anything else I need to know? What should I look for on the initial run down the street? I have all the gagues on the dash, so I can see what is going on. what should I adjust to get the street-tune "close" to a dyno tune. I am driving it out to KC next weekend to have it tuned. Thanks again for all your help.
Another question, if I get it wired like Cajuns setup, and I turn the meth kit OFF, can I drive the car home from the shop like that? Or do I have to download the maps first? Thanks in advance as always!
WTF are you doing at 5AM on here!
OK, I installed two switches to make the transition from 93 to 93 + meth. They are not in the diagram as they are not required. I mounted both of them in the ashtray. I put a plate in there and installed the indicator LEDs and the switched. I put one for the Xede 0/1 toggle and I took the +12 VDC (power) for the AMS meth controller and put a switch in line before the fuse box.
There are some important things to know...
When switching maps or when on the 93 (no meth map), if you have the meth power switched on the systems will spray at about 50% constantly! this is due to a default value of + 2.5 VDC on the output lead from the Xede. With a meth map the voltage will be 0 to 5 VDC.
So, to go from 93 to 93 +meth you flip the Xede map blank over and wait 10 seconds and then power the meth system. Then you test fire the meth and make sure that it causes your car to stumble (super rich) after you hold it for 5 seconds. You engine MUST have meth when tuned for it. If not B...O...O...M!
To go from 93 +meth to 93 tunr the meth off and then flip the Xede to the other map. It is nice to have the switches next to each other and the LEDs too.

It is ALL IN, AND READY!! Just need to add the Meth, and download Cajuns map!! Thanks for all your help Cajun!!! I will post photos also when I get it running! (of how I got the switches setup)
UPDATE:
I guess my computer guy found the new version off his previous laptop. will try to download the maps in a 1/2 hour. will keep you posted. another question. I have a week to go before the Shiv tune, and would it be safe to drive the car with this map. I am not talking full boost drag style driving, but want to know if I can see if it works BEFORE I get to the dyno day. I would hate to get there, and find out it DOESN'T WORK!! that has happened before. 7 hours one way to Dyno4mance, just to find out it wasn't working.
Any input on this? safe to drive and test, to make sure it is working/spraying?? Thanks again in advance!
