Two step rev limiter rpm setting for 3071

Assume 350whp Dyno Dynamics.
Would you set the two step at 5500rpm or 5900rpm?

I want a good 60', but I don't want to break anything.

Also, should I use the -100 settings everywhere or -75/-50s? Thanks in advance.

Well, I answered my own question on Reynolds car. 5500 is too low, becasue it makes the stutterbox act weird and bog between shifts. 5900 is a lot better

try 6500rpm or 7000rpm but put more air then usual on your tires maybe 38psi so you get wheelspin and dont hurt anything

Ive played arround with launching a bit lately without launch control on, and i found wheelspin to be a big problem even at 5500rpm. I can only bet that it would get much worse with lc on. I found that with a bit more feathering the car can launch perfectly like it did back on stock turbo but its much more difficult now. Try 5500 with nls and make sure you have some tire or you do the 4 wheel burn out.

I like the -50 -75 -100 -100 -100 -100. It keeps the pulses up.

Yes, I figured mine out... I had to change the output of Fuel on my meht map to user 4 to point the logic flow to the LC table. On my 93 smart I had to change the SMART fuel to user 4 and now everything works great. With my meth map at full throttle on the LC limiter my meth sprays on and off. It see the spray conditions between LC cycles. I might tweak that too.

Seth,

Anything below 5800 rpms wont realy generate enough air to get a good launch. 5800-6000 is a great starting point. After that you can go up from there

Now teach Reynolds how to launch his car

OK, neither myself nor my friend Chris could get any love from the launch control whatsoever! I probably need to set it up differently. The NLS between gears just killed my spool time and hurt my mph.

He tried it for a couple of runs with no success, then I tried it and disabled it after my first (embarrassing 2.0 second 60') pass.

I did another pass without it and botched the launch again with a lamer 2.0 60'.

The third pass, I took the proven advice of Dylan and Chad and tried their 5500-6000 blip-blip-slip method.

Realize that this is with me mapping the XEDE, not Shiv, so my whp numbers are a little soft/conservative. I'm still pretty stoked, though:

60': 1.64
1/8: 7.60@91.46mph
1/4: 11.85@117.81mph

I only made 325 pump; I can't get it to make more yet, I have no idea why. I just put race gas in the tank and went to slightly more boost and zeroed the timing.

Shiv tunes it this coming weekend.

At least you're getting something from the NLS. After getting my NLS kit connected, I pasted my map data onto an NLS template, and I get nothing at all.

Trust me, unless I'm using it wrong, you don't want it.

That's what I learned last night. Between gears sucked. The NLTS makes the car studder between gears to much and I think it is too big of a drop. I guess I have some tweaking to do on that.
