Help with XEDE launch control

I just finally went into the XEDE to take a look at the maps. When Shiv tuned my car he said he set the LC to 6000RPM's. After I hooked up the wire, this works as he promised. I wanted to lower mine a bit, so I downloaded all maps from the XEDE and saw the launch control map. It has only two load columns of 0/100 and only the 100 column has values: -100 from 6500 and higher. Assuming that the negative values begin the LC, I edited the two prior cells of 5500 and 6400 to -100. Uploaded the map, confirmed the changes in the ROM. Started the car and in neutral revved. Still 6000RPM's. What am I missing?

Help?

Did you have the clutch pedal to the floor?

Yes my foot is all the way down and per my post, the launch control is working. I have an 03 which doesn't have it built in and my car revs to its new flashed redline of 7850.

Did you burn the map once you made the change, not just uploaded it?

Yes. Even downloaded it from the XEDE to confirm that it did in fact take.

Be advised that making it below 6k can cause problems when shifting at high RPM.

I had mine set to 5500 and often the rev limiter would catch me on my 1-2 shift.

I keep bumping mine by resting my left foot on the clutch too much. It will wake you up!
