Yeah, SF can be cold and foggy in the summer months but east of the Oakland Hills it warms up real quick. Given the 91 octane gas, you will probably have to retard timing some to avoid detonation in hot weather. Even with a bigger IC, you probably wont want to run much over 25# boost on 91 octane, especially in hot weather. Colder weather will let you to tune it closer to the edge, safely.

not sure which cams they were but according to andrew @ dyno4mance last time i spoke to him last week was that he didnt really see any significant gains with the new IX cams on the DD dyno. I was also lookin at them but just gonna wait it out and see what other peeps run into with those installed. Ill ask him again though tues since hes gonna be sending my ecu to vishnu and put my TBE in....

My main reason for waiting though is to see how the IX cams turn out. I want to see a bunch of people "guinea pig" them before I do. I also want to see what different companies release them and when. At the moment it looks like the GSC cams are the only ones right around the corner.
