Gauging interest for 'Vishnu' Dyno Day in 'New England' area

Hi, Guyz

(In addition to the thread in the regional forum),
I would like to start a thread to have Shiv come over NE area to tune our cars.
We need about 8 to 10 ppl to make this happen. I am thinking of KTR performance (Ayer, MA) as for the place since they have a loading AWD dyno (Dynodynamics) there. Preliminary Pricing is $450 ~$550 for VIII's and $850~$950 for IX'. If you are already a Vishnu customer, then you just have pay for re-tune and dyno time. Anyways, let's see if there is enough interest for this.
Please put your SN down on the list if you are interested. Thanks.

Vishnu Dyno Day (time & date: TBA)

1. ROK EVO (IX Ecutek tune)
2. nhsean69 (XEDE re-tune)
3. Evo Ali 8 (XEDE re-tune)
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.

What qualifies you as a existing Vishnu customer..... I have a Xede but no custom tune on it. So how much would i be looking at to have to pay??? Ive been to KTR before, real nice guys and a nice place. Just wish the Dyno was a lil better then a DynoDynamics. It reads so damn low.

Who cares if it reads low? Its so much better for tuning! I wouldn't tune my car on anything else if I had the choice. Plus, its fun to smoke dynojet cars and run low 12s with less than 300whp.

Remember, Dynojets are for bragging on the internet, and Dyno Dynamics are for much more precise tuning (which I hope is what you are looking for).

In your case, you just have to pay about $100~150 for custom tuning plus dyno time. So, you are looking at about $250.

C'mon Guyz. Let's make this happen. Custom dyno tunes on a chassis dyno by one of best Evo tuners!

wait. i'm a little confused. who would pay the 500ish price? non existing vishnu customers? if shiv is coming to tune xedes, and if you already have an xede, then according to what i read that makes you an existing vishnu customer. so woulnd't everyone be an existing customer and being paying aroun 250? i must be missing something.

If you have a XEDE, then you are a existing vishnu customer. Thus, you only have to pay for custom tuning (on your XEDE) plus dyno time. The priliminary pricing posted above, apply to ppl who get regular flashes w/o purchasing XEDE. I hope this clears up some of your confusion. Thanks.

i understand now. should just be listed as flashes and custom maps instead of existing/non existing. makes it clearer.

No IX owners is interested??? Here is a thread that Shiv posted about his development of IX base maps using EcuTek software:

Now, that's some serious effort and R&D! Don't miss out this opportunity to bring out true potential of your cars.
