yea but they got smg trannys...and that translates that a stock a3 takes a stock evo8 just because shifts are literally less than a second something like .30 of a second at most and thats a downshift with a revmatch.....smg...mmmmmmm so one of those will own a stock ix mad style...but than agian evos got the launch on its hands....id wanna see that race 335i coupe vs evo ix mr

 

and those things look so good to my rents wanna buy the sedan w/awd when it comes out but i hope my mom gets the coupe....

The smg is a lot quicker than the DSG trans found in vw/audis. The a3 is not going to take an evo 8 at anything though. The fastest one (3.2l quattro) weighs 3700lb, makes 250bhp and has no launch control.

 

Too bad that the hp curve falls on its face after 6000-6300 rpm. It is like the stock EVO. I wonder if that can be tuned out.

 

Shiv, what kind of power could be pulled out of the 335i with standard mods like exhaust, catless, and tune? Maybe 330-350whp?
