Ahem....

results from today (stock vs. xede+cat-back) 91oct:

Note: This dynojet reads 10-15whp lower than most other Dynojet. In fact, with 2wd cars, it reads within 3-5% of our Dyno Dynamics dyno!

wow...very impressed Shiv...keep up the great work...I'm sure this car will hit 400 rwhp at ease in the near future.

I'm actually going this Saturday to place my order for one.

Just a cat-back we pieced together yesterday. Nothing fancy.. just a first-off prototype used for testing purposes. In fact, it's a dual 2.5" crush bent (not mandrel) so I'm sure it's costing us a few horsepower. Eventually, we'll make a proper mandrel bent SS exhaust for it now that we know what kind of gains to expect. It sounds niiiice.

holy ****....i guess all the rumors about this car being maxxed out from the factory is complete bullsh*t O_O

that is insane....but just as powerful as a IX with exhaust and flash it seems...well more torque. maybe there's even more power to be untapped?

oh and look at those curves! wow.

That's awesome.

Too bad it will probably get really expensive to mod from here on out.

Cams....Vanos makes that expensive and almost unnecessary

Intake....Is it going to make any power? It will probably sound cool though.

Turbo upgrade....Ow, my a*s! There's 2 of them and it's a German car so that makes them cost even more for some reason.

Shiv,

How much more power do you think there is to be had on 93 octane?

When are you going to get going on the Audi stuff? I'd really like to see what the 2.0T is capable of and the few Audi tuners there are move too slow.

from the e90 post thread (hope u dont mind Shiv)

will u post the video here of the stock 996 and stock IX? is the IX an MR? either way the modded 335i should beat the tar outta a stock IX. i want to see a stock vs. stock considering they both trap 106ish according to magazines i want to see if the 335i has a significantly better top end (post 106mph acceleration)

well if u can't post the vid here could u inform us when the vid is made, so we could get it from the e90 post thread or somethin

Not only does the 335 make power everywhere, but the gearing is perfect for the power output. Those two items in one package makes for a very potent street car. I think light to light it would be close with my car, just because the Evo can put down the power right off the bat. But from a roll, lights out on the evo.
according to ur info on e90 thread u have a 450bhp Evo....u're sayin a 335i with 330whp and 350wtq is quicker than a 450bhp Evo? i dont understand.

or did u mean the 335i at its current stage just "feels" faster due to the instant torque?

450hp? Where did he say that? Dustin is still running a stock turbo on his 03 evo. His car routinely dynos at 285whp on our DD dyno. The Bimmer would put down 310-320whp on the same dyno. But only to the rear wheels of course

On race gas, my car makes 343 hp on our DD dyno. On race gas my car is faster. However, when comparing 91 to 91, the BMW is faster. And really, you can't be surprised, the car makes power everywhere, the gear takes advantage of it. Compound that with the fact that my evo has the C/D of a ping-pong table, and it all comes together.
