Map for FP Evo Green

Anyone have XEDE maps for v390 with FP Evo Green?

If not, could I get by swapping in the FP for my 9.8 without a tune short term?

There is no readily available MAP on Vishu's site for the FP Evo Green.

A good place to start would be a 2005 V330 MAP as that is basically a MAP
for EvoVIII turbos with the 10.5 hotside.

You can tune from there.

Dan, do you already have injectors? If so, just back your boost off until you can get back to Dyno4mance. An upgrade that substantial needs some dyno time to get it dialed in correctly.

No injectors, yet. I wonder if Andrew would put the FP Green on the car?

Sorry for going

But is the FP Evo Green the best turbo to replace the IX stocker in terms of 91 oct pump gas? I don't see any vendors selling it any cheaper than FP's website for $1695.

You can get a refurbished one for $1300. 91 octane sucks if you had to deal with that then a bigger turbo with less boost is your best option. People are getting very good numbers out of the Green but they are running them ragged at 30psi. Lots of heat.

If you run bigger injectors and the FP Green wouldn't have to re-scale your injectors and your ignition map to make the car run properly?

^ Yep, hence why to do everything at Dyno4mance.

i would say that your not gonna find a good map for the green on the basis that (and i hate to compare but there is no way around it)

you will not find a map for a 50 trim, or one that performs well for your specific car.
the green flows quite a bit of air, close to the same as most 50 trims we buy for are cars. not trying to bust your bubble but to get what you want out of that turbo you should probably have it tuned. unless you can find someone with near identical set up and might get by. i would still have it tuned for your vehicle.

dont think of it as a bolt-on, think of it as a upgrade that is convienent

If you keep the boost below 19#, then you should be ok with the 2004 390/91 octane map. Keep in mind that your stock injectors will probably go static with the Green at anything over 23#. I´d upgrade the injectors and just scale the ECU with ECUFlash.

I am running a ported Green with 720´s, a rescaled ECU, on a non-SMART XEDE w/v.390/91 octane map w/ 0.2 degrees of timing pulled above 5000. With really sh*tty 3rd-World 89 octane shlock gas and am getting 0* knock at 19# boost at 3,000´ elevation in 94 degree weather.

My mods are as follows: HKS 280´s(+1/-1), Nissei IC, and a bunch of other stuff. You should be ok with the 390 map. I ran with that map with all my mods and a ported TME for over a year with no ill effects. Sure, it´s best to get a custom map made, however, if in the mean time you keep boost below 19-20#, you should be ok.

BTW, my car is still running the same off-the-site v.390 map now with my Green and 720´s, that I ran with my TME and stock injectors. It ran a bit lean before and now it runs a bit rich. But it´s safe(no knock at 19#) until my buddy leans out the fuel table.

Andrew can get you around 360awhp on 93oct @25lbs of boost tapering to 23 and around 400awhp on 110oct @ 27lbs of boost. You'll also need 770cc injectors or around there. Andrew charges 5hrs to install the green. I just talked with him yesterday about it.

89 octane? ouch!

Good information, though.
