Really the best option, IMHO, if you want to run stock or street prepared in autocross as well. If you're anything like me, you _will_ lose the restrictor pill. I lost mine literally 15 minutes after i'd taken it out.

I just taped mine to the back of my glove box.
Easy to find if I ever need to put it back in.

 

Does anyone know what voltage LED to use? I'm assuming 12V but I want to be sure....

 

yeah that is a good question...i;m about to do this mod and don;t have LEDs sitting around and would need to go out and buy a couple

 

this is the one i use. it is clear instead of red. it is solid green when the xede light is green and flashes red when the xede light is red. hope this helps.

 

not to raise the dead, BUT....... anyone know where to get an led for this xede mod. radioshack apparently doesn't carry 2 way leds anymore.

I would like to use this system to run E-85 and then pump gas in my EVO 9 in the next year. I have a still that we are going to make our own ethanol in. I have ran a few tanks of E-85 in my Honda CRX with a turbo B16 and it worked great the major problem was to small of a gas tank and availability but i really think it would be nice to use my own fuel in the EVO too. Do you think this ecu with the 2 maps would do the trick with a new fuel pump and bigger injectors?
