Just last night i ran my EVO 8 on the dyno at MAC Autosports in parker, colorado. I pulled a 402whp 414lb tq. Stock block and stock turbo. Mods: HKS 30anni. cat-back, HKS dp, test pipe, GReddy Profec E-01 boost controler (at 1.6 bar) , E-Manage (running stock a/f ratios), intake, type-S BOV (leaking boost, need type-R BOV), NX intercooler kit (nice help, 90 degrees F when dynoed). Will post pulls when i have access to my scanner.

ya i was at high school drags then, yes i got 2 Sparco Litides Edition seats (Red/Black). i ran ****ty though. only a 13.7 (missed second, running to rich, and clutch was GONE!)(damn stock clutches). got a HKS twin disk now tho!

 

Have we scheduled a date and time yet and how much is it going to cost. I read through all this but havent seen when this is going to happen. Also do I need to purchase the Xede now or is Shiv going to bring extra's that we can purchase onsite. Please let me know, I might be in.

Talking to Brett last week and it sounds like sometime in November. I think we ideally buy the stuff up front load on the base map then Shiv will work his magic on the dyno when he comes in.



BTW I got to meet the whole Vishnu gang last week...great guys and boy do they know their stuff! (and FWIW I'm a M.E. with a strong car background)

 

What kind of numbers did you see? I would like to know how much loss we are seeing one mile up compaired to them lucky flatlanders

 

so i guess that vishnu won't reply to our posts of what is th ecost, and will shiv help duno tune an S-AFC? only the Exede? i'm not feeling that 895 for limitations on mods, either they answer, or i'm out of the dyno day. if shiv is a good as everyone says, he'll help tune other controllers also, not only the Exede, which was my original question. i personally will NEVER buy a vishnu product, if they don't respond, only HKS or a well known company, (with bad customer service also,) but at least they're name is reputable. vishnu, please respond! you don't want to loose a guy like me, i spent 12k in mods on my last vehicle over 1 year, which was a Tacoma, willing to spend more on the evo to someone who cares about they're customers, not someone who wants people to buy something once, and will be happy with that.

We will only tune XEDEs and do reflashes. AFCs just don't have the flexibility to do what I want it to do... sorry.

Shiv, how much will you charge for reflash? And is the reflash going to be like a dyno flash, where you dyno to exact car.

Shiv, can you retune a mail order ECUTEK Stage 2 reflash on a dyno for me? I am curious if any more gains are possible.

 

I'm in. I live near parker and have done some extensive modifications to my Evo already but I would like to purchase the XEDE and have it tuned. Has a final date been nailed down yet?

 

I heard from another thread that Shiv's reflash will only be $495. Is this true Shiv? If it is I'm definitely in!!!!

 

Oh, I also forgot it includes boost control too. Just like Works reflash.
