no date yet, we do need to get the list firmed up for Brett and Shiv then figure out the date. I think we have enough cars, we just need double check and make sure all are still in.

JE what have you done to your EVO? I just heard of someone in Boulder that already has the Jun 2.3l kit in his EVO! We need to get Shiv out soon, we are falling behind each day

I've got a Toda 2.3l with a HKS 3037s turbo. I also have the Buschur FMIC and small battery kit. In addition I have the RMR exhaust and intake along with HKS 272 cams and cam gears. The head is being sent to Buschur for a Level 3 port, polish, and upgrade. The clutch is an Exedy twin and the injectors have been upgraded to 680cc's from AMS with a Walbro 255l/h fuel pump. The car is being built by Kleemann (a mercedes tuner) in Colorado Springs and will be ready for tuning in the first week of December. Kleemann built a G55 Mercedes for me that is 600 crank HP. Check out the September issue of Car&Driver, the Kleemann G55 in the article titled "Battle of the Bricks" is mine. I'll bring it by to be dynoed along with the Evo. It is currently running 0-60 in 4.9 seconds and mid 13's at Bandimere in the 1/4 mile, not bad for 6600Lbs. I'm hoping for about 500 whp out of the Evo. Any suggestions or am I on the right path? The car is about half way done now so I can make some changes. Should I go with Jun 272 cams, are the injectors large enough, etc?

I just don't think that is nearly enough power, for day to day driving!!! Especially if you consider that you are half way done. Maybe you should work on it a little harder. Consider yourself about a 1/8th done if you are lucky. I don't know why people think that they can achieve power with just a few tricks.

Ok I'm done with my line of sarcasm. Jesus Christ man. What are you trying to do? Get into orbit?

Holy Smokes JE, Let Shiv loose on that thing! You must have had some dyno time already? What did it do and what are you using for engine management now?

Still spots open for this (or any WRX driver period)? I currently have a Stage 0 and will have my 3" MRT turbo-back by December. I'd like to get my Stage 1 remap done while you are here if at all possible,

Let me know!

Ok, I think we need some direction on what to do next for the one of us that are in. Do we need to order the XEDE? Do we need to call Vishnu?

If you have an xede Shiv will tune it (he did both Evos and wrxs in Tx.) but it"s planned to happen in November sometime.

Amigoni do you want to call Brett and set a date? We are supposed to get our "stuff" installed before the dyno day so we do have to pre-order. Can't wait

Chronohunter, thanks for the advice. I will call tomorrow morning. Can't wait for this day to come, it will be amazing just to meet everyone with their EVOS. I was driving on university last night here in denver and passed two evos that were cruising. I rolled down the window and we all pulled over. What a sight. A one day old white EVO, a silver one and my red one. We chatted for a bit. Anyway. Hope you'll make it to the dyno day. I have to order my B&B exhaust next week too, so that I install it before Shiv comes out here.

P.S. I read somewhere that the dyno in Parker had a special for $45 for 3 dyno runs untill the 18th. Do we know what the dyno pricing is going to be yet? Maybe Bret knows.

Do you want to go down and baseline the cars this week? I am here till tuesday then back on Nov. 2nd. It would be cool to meet up and also to meet the Mac dyno guys.

I would like to organize a track day at Second Creek and at the Winter Driving School in Steamboat and some sort of autocross and rallycross events.

EVO's aren't very well represented in Front Range autocrosses as of yet, we need to fix that

Count me in. I am new to racing but I have been to second creek twice with my bone stock evo. I was running high 1:21s and low 1:22 when me and my friend with a porsche C2S were having fun. They told me that was a pretty good time. Do you know if it is? Let's see for that dyno day. I am down to go this week. Thursday should be good for me. Looking forward to meet you and anybodyelse that might come.

P.S. I did beat the crap out of him. We ended it when he spun at the right turn at the end of the back straight. I looked in my mirror and his car just spun. No damage thanks god. . Go EVO!!!

It would have to be Monday or Tuesday and if that special is on.
I bet your buddy in the C2s is still licking his wounds! High 1:21's are pretty respectable on stock rubber...
