I could make custom one for the EVO but would it work as well as the stock unit. Just get a TXS mounting kit for there BOV and a Subaru gasket. and some playing around could work well.

Its not really a big deal for me, but its an idea I would like to see discussed. Personally I finally got to install the XEDE on my new stock evo, after having it sit in my house for a good 1 1/2 months. My last evolution didn't make it due to crazed minivan zombie. So far I have the SubZero installed and find its improvement great over stock. It makes the car feel complete as a whole. So far no issues of any kind, *knock on wood*.
I would like to see this custom MAP w/ VTA BOV too

I know this is getting a little off topic, but I need clarification.
Wasn't the whole reason ( forget the bling factor ) for replacing the factory BOV was that it was poor quality, leaked, etc.
Was this just PR BS to get newbies to buy something you really don't need ???
And if it is crappy, what's the best way to go ???

A search brings up a bizillion hits for BOV info.
The problem is, there are as many as regarding opinions on the same products.
Sounds like there is no clear answer...
