I'm down for Stage 1+ tuning

I could talk to Altered about setting up a dyno day for something like this. I might be able to talk to them about discount rates for installations for those who can't do cams themselves. Pro-Imports is also right in that area and offers discount labor rates to DC Evo Club members.

For those without cams,

272's are available and 264's are a week or two from arrival.

 

I will be up for a dyno day at Altered anytime after the holidays. Seems like the performance gained by adding the cams warrants the additional expense. I am going to place an order for the cams today and hope they arrive in time for installation prior to the time the dyno day is scheduled.

 

first we have to convince Shiv to come out here .

 

I guess there is only a few of us that are beside ourselves about the Stage 1+ possibilities

 

I'll be happy to come out again but I'd like to do a few more local stg 1+ first. I have a few scheduled between now and Xmas. After that, an east coast trip sounds do-able.

Count me in. Is Stage 1+ definitely the 264/272 combo? Altered Atmosphere sounds like a good location. I'd probably be looking for an early morning cam install by Altered.

I am in Georgia, anyone know how long the drive would take to get up there? No one in Georgia is smart enough to get the exde.

2F2F, Limey actually made the drive up from Georgia for the last dyno day at Altered. Try checking with him on the time it took to get here to get a rough idea.

I like the sound of that, being from Cali. I'm sure I'm nutso, but I'd buy the cams just to get in that Ca. dyno day before Xmas. Better find somewhere to find the cams.

 

Gruppe-s is a great place for cams ($500 shipped) - they have the 272e in stock and are expecting the 264i soon! Better jump on it. Besides, it helps us here on the e-coast!

I'm in Southwest FL but I'd be happy to drive up to the GA area for a custom tune if I have to. I'm asking around for people that might be interested as I write this... lots of evo owner in South FL so we shall see.

Just whatever you do 2F2F... no more installs attempts for u OK. Hehehehe! JK! A man did u end up getting your Xede hooked up? And quit claiming that people in your area are not smart enough to buy an Xede - not true at all dude! They are just uninformed... as the Xede seems less attractive from a $ standpoint, until one experiences the quality and performance... and then it becomes a no brainer man. So this is where the Xede users like u and I come in... to educate the uniformed majority.
