Got my xede today

Got my xede today and I had a few questions about the install. I have the harness and it has 2 orange plugs that I did not see in the directions on Vishnu’s site, also I see that I unplug the light green wire then I don’t have a brown wire I have a black one. It’s a Black and Blue wire next to the white piece. So anyone that has installed this how do the wires go. I know how to get the green wire out but don’t know where they all go together and where do they go into. Thanks for all the help!

Ok the two red/orange wires are for map switching. you can put a togal switch in or just tuck them away.

I have to look at my Xede to tell you were the others go but the black wire is for the ground for sure. It should have a round end to it to bolt it into the ECU.

Okay I think I got it. 2 orange connectors goto the xede. I don't care about the red wires for now it's for map switching. And I pull out the light green wire and tie the green and blue wire together and put them both back into the light green spot? then use the black as a ground? Does this sound right?

The XEDE has two big connectors. One is black and one is grey. This has never changed. I think you're looking at the orange weather-proof insulation on the back of the plugs. That has always been there. As for the two boost control wires, these colors change at times in production. But worry not, there is only one way they can be installed. The one with the female termination is the only one that can be pushed inside the factory connector (once the green boost wire is extracted). The one with the male termination is the only one that can mate with the green boost wire (which is female terminated). Make sense? And the long black wire is the grounding wire. It should have a ground loop crimped on at the end. A few harnesses sneaked out last week that do not have this loop crimped on. If that is the case, let us know and we'll mail you out one asap. Or, if you're in a rush, one can be picked up from Radio Shack for a few cents.

Hope that's somewhat helpful,
shiv

I have no loop on the black one, also I need the shrink wrap thing that goes on them, No biggie just send them when you get a chance.

One last thing, what is the best way to remove the clips that hold the intake on, the black plastic round things?

Okay I got it now! Remove the light green wire, then install the light blue wire from the xede. Next take the light green wire "the one off the stock computer" and put it together with the black wire "From the xede" And shrink wrap both of them together and they do not go into anything. What was screwing me is I though they all went together and into the harness lol.
