Any idea on emissions in CA with Xflash

Well like alot of others I live in CA where the smogg guys suck big time out here and I was wondering if the car will pass smog with the Xflash in place? Cause I have been told running a car leaner will make it polute more etc. Not that I realy care Im just trying to see if I will run into any headaques later on down the line with smogg

The car would only have a DP and cat back and stolk cat.

Thanks

If you really want a hassle free smog, i would suggest you to return your car to stock. It might be a pain, but you don't have to smog your car until the first 4 years since your car is brand new. After that, you smog in intervals of 2 years. I'm sure Shiv will return your ecu back to stock when you need to smog.

No problems to pass emissions with a reflash - if anything it will do better than a stock one ! Thats one of the great things about reflash vs a stand alone like a aem

I assume also a Xede or other piggy back would also pass any emissions testing

Neither the XEDE or XFlash should have any adverse affect on tailpipe emmissions.

We'll see soon enough in january when i go to tune a whole bunch of stage 1+ cars in DC. So far, all the Stage 1+ cars I've tuned (besides mine) have been tested at 6000' above sea level, on 91oct with dubious altitude induce SAE corrections. They put down 340-345whp on an AWD Dynojet. I'd be satisifed if they put down those numbers at sea level. We'll see....
