I'm having my 264/272 cams installed within the next 2 weeks. Is it safe to drive the car (conservatively) with my Shiv-tuned Stage 1 93oct map, until I'm able to download the temporary Stage 1+ 91 oct map? The shop can't download the map for me.

I'll be using the 1+ 91oct map until the Jan. 31 tuning session at Altered Atmosphere.

I can download you the map. I have it on file. I can also store your tuned map for you. But I'm sure I have it because it was my lap top Shiv was tuning from at BM.

I'm sure you must have my tuned map. I think I had the 5th or 6th dyno slot at BM Tranny. My car made 310whp. I sent you a PM. I'll be at TurboTrix on Monday. JFH sent me the 1+ map, but I don't have a laptop. My home computer has a USB connection. I remember reading something about not being able to use USB for the map.

Well if your in NJ it takes me two sec to load a map. Also what I can do is leave in the map you have now and load the Cam map so you can switch it after the cams are installed. Oh XEDE!!! In love with it.

I was at the NJ Dyno Day also. I have already downloaded and saved my Stage 1 map that Shiv tuned. No-brainer with a laptop.

I also uploaded the State 1+ map (stage1 plus cams 05.XMD) after installing my cams. However, this is a 91 octane map and the car is anemic compared to Stage1 93 octane map that I was running prior to the cam installation. Do you have a different version of the Stage1 plus map or the same one I already have? If you have a newer one please let me know.

DEL TURBO - If you have a laptop you can just get the X Map v2_0_0 beta software from Vishnu's site and do it yourself. I sent everyone on the East Coast dyno day list a copy of the Stage1 plus map that I have.

I can talk you through it if you need some help.

That is the map I am running and you say it's worse then the stage 1 map? WOW I can't wait to get a good stage 1+ 93 map then.

Did you have your car tuned on the dyno, after installing your Stage1+?. JFH's car made 315whp with Shiv's custom tuned Stage 1 map. My car made 310whp with same. Both were 93oct. I'm hoping to gain another 20+whp with Shiv's 93 oct custom tuning for the cams.

 

I have had 0 dyno type besides a baseline run.

Could you fill in the rest of us about the DD Dyno supposedly popping up in the South East you mentioned in another post?

Would like to organize another dyno day later on for those of us farther south and who cannot make the Jan 31 event.

 

If I could get my car running right I would, or if someone could fix it. It's a damn shame when I have a evo meet and the 15 evo's there want to check out my Vishnu stuff and I tell them the car sucks because it has a boost leak and a CEL all the time.
