Firmware news
Here's what the newest version of XMap (currently be tested) will offer:
User definable RPM switch, above which the XEDE starts modifying the signals. Below which is completey pass-thru (for smoother idle, happier OBD-II diagnostics, etc,.)
User definable wastegate solenoid operating frequency so that it can be used with other drivers of user's choice.
Currently working on a user definable MAF switch, above which the XEDE starts to modify the signal. It's a bit harder to do than the RPM switch since it's tough to make the swithover invisible. But we're working on it...
If this works, we can keep the current MAF scaling and not have to redo all the baseline maps
Cheers,
shiv

The new firmware is essentially done. However, we ran into a glitch on Friday when we tried to update the new firmware into an older XEDE hardware version. This should be fixed this week and we will advise users on what steps can be taken next. The XEDE can get its firmware upgraded by the user if they are so inclined. I'm currently writing a little instruction set on how to do this.
The MAF-depedant bypass works perfectly, BTW. In fact you have a choise to make the MAF bypass triggered by RPM, MAF, TPS or MAP.
Hopefully, traction control will also be squared away this week as well.

So, what's the status? When can we download this? PM me if you want someone to test your instructions for you.

Well, according to Shiv there is a newer version of XMap designed to work with the newer firmware: there are new features that "will not be operational until the XEDE is updated with the appropriate firmware"
Hopefully we will see something about getting the new firmware this week.
