I was under the impression that the Stage0+ was the downpipe + high flow cat + cat back exhaust (with the XEDE obviously). Is this true?

The reason I ask is I just got onto the XEDE that you custom tuned for my car, and the map written is described as "Stage0_91oct" under the Data Block Description. I pulled that map off the XEDE and compared it to the Stage 0 and Stage0+ maps off your website. Sure enough, it's closer to the Stage 0 map, rather than the Stage 0+ map.

I had the "dump back" exhaust car that you reference as the "with and without XEDE, baseline maps with no tuning".

I do have the downpipe + high flow cat + cat back exhaust (signature). Isn't this a dump back exhaust? Why didn't you start with the Stage 0+ map if that is the case?

Following the stages.

Stage 0= Exed and cat back
Stage 0+= Exed and cat back, Highflow cat and downpipe (Dump back is common)

Stage 1= 0+ cam gears retared 5 degrees
Stage 1+= Addtion of Cams HKS 272 264

Eric, also, for the Stage 1+, the gears are no longer retarded 5 degrees, but 3, am i correct?

Shiv, did you put the wrong baseline map on my XEDE?

 

The name of the datablock merely indicates which baseline map I started from when tuning the car. Doesn't really matter which map I tune from as I usually start from since custom tunes get worked over during the tuning process. As to why you final map looks more like one map than the other, it just worked out that way. Nothing to be concerned about as the differences between Stage 0, Stage 1, etc,. aren't all that great. But little changes go a long way.
