Stop man all is wrong! Right now those cam gears are set to -2. You MUST use the Vishnu red dot to align TDC to the slashes on the valve cover. DO NOT ALIGN TDC TO THE ARBITRARY "0" ON THE SCALE!!

Actually if he set it at the "0" mark and he is at the blue its more like +13

yes i am at +4 but i am 7 degrees advanced since they were installed with the 0@tdc so i am really at +11 so i could move to -10 and they will be at -3...this **** is too confusing/annoying. time for mark & coke.

The blue line setting would be +4, but the actual gear at the time of that picture is set at -2. There is A LOT of confusion about this for some reason.

To asasin79: !!!Warning!!! *******The red dot is to align the gears TDC, the degree marks are for the settings. if that green line is where you've set TDC, you're lucky the motor didn't let go the first time you fired it up. You must use the red dot to set to TDC. If you can't set the red dot to TDC, have the car towed to somewhere that can. DO NOT drive the car if that green line is where you set TDC.. Don't even start it anymore!*******

No. They're off because you installed them both a tooth off. They'd read spot on if you were TDC'd from the red dot.

cam gears, Hell even I did not screw that up lol. Hey those look like mine :-) Anyone put the RED DOT on the rib at +9 on both gears. The loosen the 5 allen bolts and set the white mark at -3 on both gears, tighten them down and use the RED dot as TDC. Also use locktight on them lol.

Yes its bad but not near as bad if he retarded it the same amount it would be gone already. All your info is correct asasin I would not just retard then -10 I would find TDC with a long extention through the sparkplug hole and mark the belt with TAPE ONLY! and take the gears off and start over
