i don't think i will make it to msr tomorrow. i relly didn't feel comfortable running on the track being not so sure of the continental's if i went it would be for spectator only. so i don't think i will go since it'll prolly be ****ty like today. psi and joey anytime you guys need a hand with anything let me know i'm more than happy to help. looking forward to the meets.

 

I'm gonna call Silver in the Morning, but myself and a friend are going to plan on being at the track by about 8:00am. Often I'm on eof the first people there and can enjoy reading my paper there finishing off my third or so frapacino..

Was there any stage 1 evo's? How does the stage 1 compare with the stage 1+ tested on the same day?

 

The only one we saw had some other mods we were unsure about... I think he put around 300 to the wheels.. There might have been more after I left (because I don't remember if everyone had stage 1 or stage 1+)...

 

All I have to say is tha MP5, Joey, Shiv, Noize, sanantone,asasin79, PSI Tex are all a bunch of nice guys. I regret leaving at around 6pm, didn't get my dyno time in. But I am sure you all saw how bored my daughter was sitting at Alamo for 7 hrs. She finally told me, " Daddy, thats enough." I am sure I can pursuade Noize to give me his custom 305 HP Stage 1 map though . Thank you MP5 for hosting such an awesome day.

yevoviii, like sanantone said i would be more than happy to help you out, but if i remember correctly you don't have cams do you? and didn't get flashed. i think your best bet would be getting noize's map since he is running catless like you. you guys know that i did not thank anyone on here. so thanks to all who helped make this event possible and everyone who helped get others' cars ready.

 

oh yeah psi tex, how does your car smell and is the fuel gauge still okay?

 

I was one of the WRX (silver with the prodrive wannabe's) guys waiting all damn day for you Evo's to get outta the way... By the end of the day we had pretty much become strap-down ninjas. The last WRX didn't roll off the dyno till maybe 12:30 or 1am.

Anyways, when my car finally went on the dyno at about 10pm, Shiv pulled out about 8 more peak horsepower and a shat-ton of area under the curve. He even fixed the puke 'n die from 6k rpm to redline. Ended up at 272whp. I'm pretty happy with that considering most agreed that the dyno was reading a bit on the low side.

My car smells a little bit.. but that was cause Joey left that trashbag in my car and i just figured that out this morning... besides that everything is working well... Also, my Oil Temp guage is working afterall... I called MP5 about it and he never called me back... BEEYOTCH!!! j/k...

For some reason my car is running cooler than stock... Go figure...

Anyways, is the XEDE supposed to be clicking when I get on the throttle...?

 

yeah i asked shiv about the clicking at full throttle/boost and he said its normal. mine clicks until i let off.
