Texas Dyno Day Results Here
Homies, I know you are starting to arrive at home from your big Dyno Day. What happened? Any drama? Results? The other 49 states are waiting to hear all about it.
not much drama i didn't stay the whole time, but did have a great time with Shiv and all the members that made it. i personally put down 320.5 and can't remember the torque but i believe it was around 298-299. when i left there were still 2-3 stage 1+ cars left, a "custom tune", and a couple of wrx's. they did not print graphs but Alamo is supposed to email them to shiv and i guess he will take it from there. the one bad thing was that it got pretty fumed when i was up and found out that my cat is no bueno.
oh yeah all the stage 1+ cars before me were in line with my numbers. sorry so long but you asked.

But did you go for a ride with Shiv? I seriously thought I was going to die... I'm not sure if it is because I was in the passenger seat and felt out of control; but I'll admit... I was scared...
I can't wait for the Stage 2... I wish it would have been ready for this Dyno Day.. Oh well... Gives me something to dream about at night now that I have my stage 1+

I have to say that it was a pretty damn good day. I ended up with around 325 WHP and 305-310 torque. They will put the graphs up later, maybe tomorrow. Some of the qains like mine were just amazing, around 50 whp and the torque went from a quick peak to a beautiful plateau that slowly tapered off. I really want to thank Shiv, MP5 and Noize for the help that they provided. Shiv tuned, MP5 helped organize, work on cars, and strap em' down. Noize assisted Shiv all day with the running of the dyno software. Also, the dynojet that we were using at Alamo looks to have been reading a bit low, the numbers were really better then they looked based off of some past runs by people. You guys will like the graphs.

So MP5, how did your ride do?
So I was the low guy, huh? Looks like my girlfriend is going to get her feelings hurt...
I'm going to put on my test pipe and download the race map and see what I do... Something to do next weekend... Are you guys going to MSR tomorrow? What time is everyone going? Meeting anywhere?

). Make sure you guys show him a good time
I think that most were right around 300 whp to around 325 whp. I think that I had the high number of the day, but it was not by much at all. Actually, I think that asasin 79 was right behind me and psi tex right behind that. There was not really enough difference between the three to even consider. MP5 has to look into getting a different DV as his stock was leaking a bit. He was above 300 whp though. I am sure the maps will be up soon, there were some beautiful, smooth clean runs. Just some solid pulls. And for those who think that some averaging or clean-up button was pushed to get these smooth maps, that is absolutely not the case. Shiv spent a good deal of time on each car getting the maps as smooth as they ended up being. He will post up a before and after map from my car on top of each other. Trust me, you WILL see the difference!
So Joey, are you and Vincent planning on going to MSR tomorrow? Thanks again for the help today; I really appreciate it guys... I'll definately have to head to Wasabi racing with you guys some time...
What time did you guys finish up?
What time did you guys finish up?
I left around 9:30, MP5 and Noize were still there with Shiv and the WRX's. I may head out there tomorrow, it just depends on the weather. If it is nasty then I just don't have much intrest. Let me know if you want to head up to the Sonic car meet, and definatly Wasabi on the first Wed of next month.
If your concerned about a little water.. don't... The circuit is wide smooth and can become a great oppurtunity for a little sideways action without being really abbrasive to the rubber... Rain or Shine it's some of the best times you can have with your pants on..
