Exclamation To NJ Dyno Day Participants

Hi guys,
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone from showing up. Tuning 20 cars in a weekend was a challenge. But meeting all the owners and their friends was a real kick. Plus, NJ just plain rocks Also, a major thanks for Eric L for making it happen... again. I don't know how it does it but he just runs the smoothest dyno days I've ever seen. I guess practice will do that

Anyway... back to business.

As most of you know, all you EVO owners had your XEDE updated with the newest firmware. You should notice a smoother idle, much smoother cold start and other general drivability improvements.

What I need from you guys is feedback via PM. I need to know if you have noticed any downside to the new firmware update. If so, what is it and when does it occur. I'm just trying to see the broadest possible picture before making it the default firmware in all new XEDEs.

BTW, The launch control feature is currently disabled but can be enabled through XMAP. However, I don't suggest you do this until we have some instructions written up on this subject. Transmission are expensive

Please let me know....

Cheers,
Shiv

Are you going to be giving out the firmware updates here in Portland?
