XEDE & Hallman MBC

I have the following mods on my car:

1. HKS Downpipe
2. HKS Cat Back Exhaust
3. AEM Intake
4. Hallman MBC set at 20psi to redline

I need to know if the XEDE will work with my setup?

Any information regarding this matter is very much appreciated.

Thanks.

The XEDE will replace the MBC since it controls boost.

You can sell that and help pay for the XEDE!

Your AEM intake will need tuning I would start out with a Stage 0 map and go from there. You can use the MBC or the Xede for boost control your call. MBC is simpler to tune out boost.

Should work fine. No need for the mbc, the xede takes care of that.If you really wanted to use it for some reason, you could. Just do not hook up the boost feature on the xede. You may also wanna think about getting a custom tune with an open element intake. All the downloadable maps are calibrated for the factory intake.

Do you think Vishnu can create a map with my current mods?

Then, they will send the map to me via email and upload it to the XEDE?

I really want a piggyback and debating XEDE over the Flash, also I also want to maximize my current mods for better power gains with the piggy back.

No but he will custom tune you for your mods. I don't think he would be inclined to do somthing over the email for your intake. You might just want to go back to stock or try out the new Cannon ball flash for 195.00. Witch should be rich enough for what ever the intake would lean out.

You need to dump the MBC. If you want to run that AEM, you'll also need a custom tune.

What if I just installed back my stock Airbox and install a KNN Panel filter, would the MBC have to go also?

Or can I just leave the MBC and try disconecting the Boost controller feature in the XEDE?

Thanks

Stock airbox would be alright; you'll need to check with someone from Vishnu on the K&N filter. The MBC is going to make you LOSE power, as the XEDE takes complete control of the boost and its mapped accordingly. Using the MBC will make your car slower if it is equipped with an XEDE. I got rid of my MBC when I got my XEDE and my car is a lot stronger without it. Why would you not want to use the boost control the XEDE provides?
