I agree with that, Vishnu offers total solutions packages not just peace meal parts.

Kinda figured that, what I'm saying is to make it appealing to the masses as NOT everyone has one of your exhaust a different piece with a more rounded contor would be benificial.

That may be the case and I applaude them for that. I was just stating that maybe other folks would be interested in this item if it was more "universal" fit as a great many people in the EVO community have canister style mufflers.

I think it could be a possibility, however, making one that works will all other, er, JDM exhaust systems would require a completely different design and there's no telling if it would even fit all of the JDM exhausts, because i know there are some that hang lower than others, etc.

I would love to get one, but like you said it all depends on which JDM exhuast you have.
I have the RS-R exhaust and it looks like it could possibly fit depending on the size of the canister and the angle of it.

What if making the 'box' area wider to accomodate the different 'angles' of the JDMs?

Word to Vishnu: If you wanted to sell more of these, all you would have to do is to slightly redesign the piece surrounding the muffler (see the pic). It still wouldn't fit ALL exhausts out there, but it would probably fit most. If you make the muffler tray slightly wider and make the tray itself with multiple mounting depths, it should work fine. You could then sell a version that will fit Vishnu exhausts and the redesigned one that will fit most other (non-JDM style) exhausts.

haha damn I want mine too

Ludikraut: Nice drawing man I understand you point

Badevo: Maybe we can later though its not a scam to get people to get our exhausts Its just logistics and simplicity and has always been our focused effort to actually tune the car as a whole. These aero pieces were concieved and tested due to Pauls efforts in racing. We actually do and are vain enough to think that every piece we make is the best out there, while even our customers might go with something else from time to time It is impossible for a small but focused company to R&D every other companies products for univeral fitment- anyway Im rambling and Im sure you know that already

Chrono: Your car is safe no one can wring it out like you. Ill make a promise if you give me those swedish shocks that have your name on it that ive been drooling over Ill stay out of your car

We are running the undertray on the Sparco EVO "without" the piece that fits under the exhaust. We fabricated a little bracket that holds the small right side piece of the undertray to the underbody of the car, so it does not flex. I'll try to take some pics next week, or if some of you are coming to the next SoCalEvo.net meet at XS Engineering, our car will be there.
