SES question

When i had first installed my stage 1 it stalled a lot. One time it stalled then my ses light came on after i started it up again. I raised my idle and the problem went away and the ses went away. Yesterday i was driving with the A/C on full blast and my car died (my clutch was in and it was in neutral so it wasnt a stall). My SES came on again after i started the car. What do you guys think the problem could be? should i raise the idle again? When i cold start the car i have to play with the throttle sometimes to keep the engine alive but once it gets warmer it holds idle just fine.

Is there a possibility that you are running an aftermarket blow off valve?

See if you can pull the code, my guess is the 0300.

I actually have the same problem. I have a Vishnu Stage 1 custom tuned by Shiv. I had recently put in the MR Diverter Valve. Sometimes the revs also come way down when I step on the clutch and put the car in neutral to come to a stop, and the car died on me twice. I am assuming since the car was ok before the new DV went in, it was the new DV's fault. I had experienced the same thing with the HKS BOV, so I took that one out really quick. The MR DV is much better, but still a little gimpy sometimes as noted above. I'm considering putting the stock DV back in for now, until I get enough new mods to justify another tune by Shiv, in which time I will put the MR DV back on.

Check the code, I had (Maybe still have?? I got the reflash) the PO300 problem. BUT, when my car dies/stalls like when you just pull up a bit at light, I throw the PO335/340 codes, cam/crank angle codes. Two different Mitsu dealers found no mechanical issues and they suspect an electrical glitch.

I know your situation is a bit diffrent than mine, but I thougt it may help.

This happened before the stage 1 was installed too.

Unhappy

Have many other ppl been getting the 335/340 codes? I have had them several times (and stalled), and I remember reading one thread about defective sensors, and others saying that the 300 code could cause these codes as well. Does anyone have more information on why these codes get triggered?
