Price for Dyno Tuned Stage 1 Flash??

Shiv, or anyone @ Vishnu....this seems to be the place to get in touch with you guys. The Subaru people are hating on you guys, cause they never get updates.......but Im not . Who cares if you guys stopped the Stage 3 WRX....in all honesty, how many of those guys would have bought the thing anyway......98 octane is just TOO much for my blood.

Anyway, I wanted to know how much it would be to get dyno tuned with Ecutek. Mods are only uppipe and downpipe. I dont know if I should just get the mail in Stage 1 reflash, or I need a custom tuned one. I also wanted to know if I would need another reflash once I got the catback part...

Thank you.....Friend of an EVO owner, I wish I could put $1500 in mine and have it run low 12's

<<<----Also, LOVES EVOs

Stage 3 WRXs need to be done inhouse. Do you have the Eckutek already? The WRX stages are dialed in darn good custom tuning is up to the user but it usually only picks up 5-10 WHP

I have the AccessECU flash from Cobb, just the base map from the AccessPort. If all I would need is an "off the shelf" map for uppipe, downpipe, than cool...thats save me some money. I just didnt know if I would need a custom one (cause Im lacking the full turboback exhaust-for now)

It seems that everyone is running lean with the 91 octane map here in Cali....Myself included. Heres the dyno chart of my Cobb Stage 1.

Okie doke... baseline WRX reflash is $650. Add $200 for custom dyno tuning. I promise it will be the best $850 you will ever spend on your car

Shiv, was are your target a/f ratios for the base maps, i.e. Stage 1? Do you have an charts with a/f? Just would like to see how it should be. I only found a/f on the stage 2 maps.

Thanks

There are no "target" AFRs per se becuase the reality of it is that every car likes different things in order to make max safe output. That's where custom tuning comes into play. But, in general, for WRXs on our CA91oct, it's not unusual to see AFRs in the high 10s around peak torque and into low to mid 11s near redline. But that's just the fuel side of th equation.

Thats cool....Now your car is running good and mine is running like poo. I switched the stage 2 map in favor of the stock one, so I am SOOO slow right now. If feels a ton slower, but safer is better. I really dont know if this Stage 2 map is running lean, since that was my stage 1 map that I dyno'd.....but im guessing it wasnt the greatest. In the meantime, I think Im going to sell the AccessPort and by a catback, then save up for the custom reflash, but before I sell the AP, im going to fill up w/100 octane to see if that helps

I dont think I'll need a stage 3, stage 1 should do cause you are scared to launch your car. Although might be able to catch me later.
