Free Shwag?
I was just wondering if I'm ever going to get my free shwag that you offered. I emailed you guys back right away and you said it's on it's way.....am I not getting the free shwag because I'm from Canada and it costs more to mail it here?
Can't complain about receiving free stuff.... It costs $$$ to ship stuff, and obviously more to Canada. Just be patient, it took a couple of weeks to receive my stuff. From Vivid's forums, I think they're swamped with "free" request and ask for you to pay shipping.
BTW, Thanks Dan!!!!
BTW, Thanks Dan!!!!
It says exactly in the post how to get the FREE stuff...it has been there for several months. Sorry for the confusion.

So essentially free swag is $10 swag.....*cough* false advertising *cough*
I emailed Vivid regarding how they could offset or retrieve the cost of sending out this free swag.....tax write-off, it's a cost of doing business and bringing in new business....my father uses that same clause in the tax forms to do it all the time, last year to the tune of $3,000. Major corporations write off advertising and commercials as well as bill boards and promotional tours every day of the year. And to those that question this....I'm a law student taking Corporate Tax right now.
Vivid could have easily done this being an incorporated company (unless they're an illegit business).
So Vivid should have written this off and not charged $10 a pop, unless they are writing this off AND still charging $10 for it, in which case thats tax fraud and they are liable for a fine and jail time.
In either case thanks Vivid (two thumbs down) for your honesty and advertising practices, I'll be sure to order something from you soon! <laughs>
