racing methanol vs. methanol

Do the different formulations of methanol ~99% make any difference. I found some that are made for racing that may have some extra lubication. Is this the way to go, or if I order "pure methanol" from a scientific (non-racing) chemical company. Is there a difference, or am I just spliting hairs?

I'm in the same boat....Meth w/ lube or straight meth w/ no lube? and from what I heard, as long as it's not recylced meth, it's good? Can someone confirm that also?

i believe the lube is there for your pump and to minimize the corrosive properties of meth. it's not needed in most alky kits these days cuz not much can corode and the pump seals are alky safe.
