IC spray tank, alky pump location?

I am trying to see if I can install my alky kit in the engine bay with out running it to the trunk. I have a mini battery, so I have a little room. Anyway, I want to run from the IC spray tank to the pump. I just can't figure out where a decent place to put the pump. Any suggestions or pics.

I've been searching, but I can't find what I need.

Use the intercooler spray bottle to put the meth in. you have to disconnect the IC sprayer anyway with the AMS kit. My bottle is in the same location, but just full of meth.

I don't know if your car has an intake or not, but I mounted my pump right underneath where my filter sits.......

I have an RNR short intake. I was thinking of bolting my devil's own kit there.

As you can see I moved some stuff. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used the same IC reservoir but wedged aluminum elbows and diamond plate between. This also eliminated one of the top mount screws. All this provided enough support to mount the pump (lower than res) inboard adjacent to reservoir. It was tough

I am in the middle of installing the kit and I have the pump strapped to the tank. I'll post pics later.

Since my buddies with electrical knowledge aren't around. Can someone direct me to the map sensor on my car? Second, what is a good wire to hook up the 12 volt ignition wire too? The wire comes off my progressive controller and is in the cabin. Thanks for your help.

I have everything else figured out. I won't use the kit until I have someone verify that I did it right though.

you might want to encase the metal straps in...vinyl hose, will lessen the chance of the straps rubbing and causing the tank to leak.

Your referred to a 12-volt ignition wire? Well, in the kit that I have, I have a 30 amp, 12-volt relay that serves as a buffer between the boost pressure switch and the pump. I also have an inline fuse holder that is placed between the main power source (+) and the rest of the electrical components. I'll send you a few diagrams so that you can see what I'm talking about so check your email when you read this. The map sensor? I'm checking the EVO repair manual/CD to see if I can find that for you.

Agree with Slocar, vibration might occurr and will chaff and eventually rattle.

I did same location but between pump and where it mounts to the frame I wedged a thick guage diamond plate aluminummount useing the two big and two small bolts. The top res bolt needed to go, but that thing aint going nowhere. This is what I used to mount the pump which feeds lower than res.

Lots of handcrafting needed, fun though

Looking at your pictures, it would have been so much easier if I removed the bumper . Good thing I work in impossible locations for a living

I will line the metal strap with rubber. It is hard to see, but there are 4 rubber stoppers on the pump, so that it wouldn't vibrate, but I could see it chaffing against the res.
