5th Injector, Methanol, and AEM EMS

I searched and couldnt find anything relating to this. Would this be possible using this setup for the injector?

http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=FUL

I could run a line from my meth pump (SMC Kit) now to the injector, then have the AEM run the 5th injector, come on at a set time, increase duty cycle as boost rises, etc. Im not 100% sure the AEM could do all of this but I just thought I would run it by you guys. I would weld the injector in my up-pipe where the nozzle is now.

Sound like a good idea or a waste of time? It just seems an injector would work better than the typical nozzle.

You can do this , several supra owners do this and have a kit put together for it. Just search for it.

Fuel injectors dont last very long spraying methanol. Plus that injector holder is not meth compatible either. If you used ethanol which is far less corrosive it would work very well. The aem can control an additional injector setup with unparralled acuracy.

how do you ensure that the single injector will give you enough dispersion to send a good distribution of alky mist down each of the 4 runners?

I also heard you can use AEM to control the pump voltage of an alky pump.

even better...if the AEM can be used to control a high speed valve like the one from aquamist, capable of open/close, 250 times a second....rather an a massive rotating chunk of steel and copper pump rotor?

You have to use a solid state relay to control the pump like an injector. The output on the AEM is for an injector. Injectors are driven at 5 volts. You cant drive a 12v fuel pump on the 5v output. Driving a FP like an injector is of course to where near as affective as driving and controlling an injector.
