"It does't need to. Take Aquamists "high flow" pump. Its rated at 125 psi. Do you think its any better? Before you answer, I have one sitting on my test bench.

Shortly we will have a pump available that will not pulse, it will be a larger high pressure pump with a bypass built in by the factory." Coolingmist

If it is not needed, why are you following/copying the by-pass concept aquamist is using?

Some innovate, some just plain ole copy!

Just for the record... the answer you never got..

Hello Slowcar,

I have managed to retrieve the following deleted post by David of Coolingmist at the RX7 forum... in the original form !!!

If you don't believe me, here is the proof:

Good for you, I dont care. Shurfo told us we are the first methanol injection company that they private labeled a pump for.

Gee Richard I dont know. Maybe when I went to PRI and saw a company that makes spark plugs and they had a competitors spark plug in the display and they showed the difference between the two.

maybe we are tesing our smart injection unit against your high flow system as we speak.

maybe none of the above.

I dont know, but since our Smart Injection unit with the flow gauge is going directly against your Highflow system with DD3s, I think we will add DD3S to the Adwords. Infact if I get around to it I will do it later.

I dont care what you like or dont like. There is nothing illegal or unethical about using a competitors name as a keyword. We are not the only one doing it. We were the ONLY one that offered to remove it if the industry does the same.

All you ever do is go around and bash other systems that are not aquamist, that are progressive. Not everyone can afford a $25,000 system. We have a system coming out shortly that is going to cost less and do more than your high flow system, so get used it.

The above link posted by Sdminus has very good technical contents and backed up with facts. Still, a large part of the discuss remains.

This is the first time someone has done an in-depth study of such a concept.

If you buy two, I will give you one for free

Aquamist: I asked Richard technical questions, he was out to help he all he could even i havent bought a single part from him!

Me and a few of us WAI users on EvolutionM are really appreciative for the technical help, some of whom are not aquamist users!

It really shows who is in it to promote the art of WAI and who is in it to make a quick buck.

my 2 cents

David, lets talk some engineering here. Its BS to keep deleting technical discussion to cover up your ***.

Honesty Coolingmist does know jack .... About cars and only has a basic understanding of how alcohol injection works. He just has a very good background in b.s. and sales.

I am one of the owners of devilsown water Injection. I even don’t' know everything when it comes to alcohol/water injection. I have seen him make claims that just defy the laws of physics. I call him out and he just points out my rotten spelling. I always look at his tech is like the blind leading the blind. I have a arch background and Richard has an eng background so I guess that’s why we don't seem to have any problems grasping.

Alcohol injection not that difficult but so much false info has been passed around. I spend a good portion of my day trying to correct the misinformation. I get dam near 100 emails a day. Good portion of it is just common b.s. marketing of coolingst. Is this how you fell richard?

You are funny. You guys think your "custom shurflo pump" has "MTBE" seals. What a joke. For the record its EPDM. Let me quote 1 thread, you said it many times in others.

You also use fittings designed for AIR at a max temp of 140F and very low pressure. You did this because they are cheap. Yet you claim they are made for water and high pressure. You want me to link everyone to where you buy them? Let me know I'll be glad to.

All your company does is try to bash me.

Nice, I am a software engineer. I never once made any claims that I am an electronics engineer. I actually hire someone to do all of that for the company. He is an employee of my company and I am proud to have him. I write the a good bit of the software in the unit. Of course I dont understand alot of the electronics part, I never claimed to, but yes I understand methanol/water injection and you are complete troll to imply I dont. I am the owner of this company and I hire the best people to work for me who are responsible to understand how to make the product work. Its called TEAMWORK. Maybe some day you will understand.

I dont have to point out your spelling. you have no concept of how to develop a good product (or a half decent sentence structure for that matter). You also have no concept of what it means to run a company. Your false claims from something you posted on line many months ago has been elevated up the corporate ladder to a legal department (not from us), so hopefully soon if they follow through you will learn a good lesson.

I believe people can spot BS a mile away and you are plenty visible. You attack me left and right, I have told you many times I would leave you alone if you did the same with me, but you dont seem to understand that concept.

You wanna hit me? go ahead, i'm going to hit you back twice as hard from now on.

I tried not to get involved but the link above made my position impossible as the poster bought a DDS3 and got upset on what he was seeing on the gauge.

I don't like mixing engineering matters with unsubstantiated claims.

David, an example of your materials knowledge:
