oil analysis

Has anyone injecting alky/meth done oil analysis to assess the extent of oil contamination with the alcohol? Seems like a good thing to do to determine oil change intervals for an injected car. I'm planning to do that once I get my setup up and running.

How often do you change your oil?

They can do that and a lot more. They also will interpret the results for you and tell you what's normal. It's also a good means to compare different oils and how they work for your motor. I know that a lot people have sworn off Mobil 1 after doing this sort of testing on a regular basis, at least with cars that are run hard on the road course (favoring Redline, Amsoil, etc.).

Do you think significant quantities of MeOH will stay in engine oil at those temps?

Should fraction off, right?

I run alky, just got my oil changed, and got an analysis from Blackstone. Everythings fine, not to much different then the last one from my old Evo (old evo did not run alky). Ran the oil 5000 miles, including a track day a few autoxs.
