Bolt on IX 50shot dyno/track vid's
Just Dyno'd @ MGW 6/12 and I had Greg do some tuning http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LLDU6EIOFpw
Track vid early may, first pass was spraying every gear, second screwed up launch, thried sprayed 3/4 gears, 4th pass was all boost on the race gas map http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrI6ZUyej7A
I have ran it at the track back when the car was going 11.9 all boost. My best was a 11.5@114 letting off the nitrous in 4th before the traps for fear of hitting the limter. I have stayed in it longer on other passes and seen a best mph of 118. I always spray the car with 110octane in the tank and on my pump gas map(less timing). Im running 38nos/22fuel I believe on the jetting as the 36 nos recommends for nitrous was too rich for my liking so instead of going down on the fuel jet I went up on the nitrous I havent got around to purchasing some colder plugs but plan on going 1step colder.
For the bottle!

For sure get the colder plugs, I'm running the NGK BR8ES right now, I'd recommend those from what I've seen and read.
I used to run an even colder plug on my celica when I sprayed, I only put them in at the drag strip.. it was easy to see what the car was doing that way.. but that car was n/a so I didn't really want a cold plug all the time

The IXs require a longer plug. I just ordered a set of denso IKH24's. They are iridium and expensive as hell $12ea from sparkplug.com. These plug's are one heat range colder than the stock (7range) so they are equivalent to a BPR8. I plan on stepping up to a 42nitrous jet/75shot when I throw in the new plug's. I would love to break the stock turbo IX record @ the shootout. By then I will have a new frontmount, ported 02 and ported exhaust mani. Also going on a diet
Going to be hard to beat the PR guy's 10.8

I dont recommend iridium plugs for the sause. Easier to read and gap copper plugs not to mention the cost savings.
If you don't have an RPM window switch install I highly recommend one of those as well. They are $80 from summit. If you mis a shift without one bad things will happen.
What boost are you running while on the bottle?

Their currently arent any copper plug's available for the IX. sparkplugs.com say that iridium is fine for nitrous. I would rather have copper because the price and I would be able to change them more often.

They might as well have invented a new plug, it is 26.5 mm reach. I searched every dang plug manufacture out there for a copper plug. It does not exist yet for the IX. I went with the same plug as stock, just without the platinum. Seems to work well for me.
