Lol... Hey Abner, what size nozzles are you running again on your set up?

That is a healthy dose. I'm starting to complain about my consumption now that I stepped up to a .8mm nozzle. What was your alcohol turn on point?

I'm using the windshield wiper reservoir in the trunk. It would last me for months before a fill up with my previous .7mm nozzle. Now with the .8mm nozzle it seems to get sucked up pretty quick.

 

i think the 0.8mm flows about ~20% more than the 0.7mm...

its a 50/50 mix?

 

Yeah, still on a 50/50 mix. I may play around with 100% methanol someday .

 

When I was researching my setup Richard sent me this

(at 125psi)

1mm = 520cc/min
0.9mm = 470cc/min
0.8mm = 420cc/min
0.7mm = 375cc/min.
0.3mm = 65cc/min

Also
Water = 1 (datum)
Methanol = 2x
50:50 – 1.5x

Denatured Alcohol or Meth? Where do you get it and how much?

 

i add meth to my coffee lol

 

stay away from denatured alcohol...depending on the maker, there can be harmful denaturing agents added that can have detrimental effects on the wetted parts in a WAI system.

methanol, range from $2 to $5 depending on the volume you buy. Call around chemical supply houses, 5 gallon sealed drums for ~$25

realistically how much meth are you going through abner? how often do you refill and is that 2x 4 quart jugs? where are you getting your meth?
