this is correct. If you use any kind of electronic boost controller (stock, GM, MAC, Trueboost, etc...) you can cut boost using the stock ECU and the 5v output on the board. If you have a MBC you will need a MAC valve. With that being said, you can still use the MAC valve exactly the same way even if you already have an electronic boost controller.

The new v9 does not remove the ability to work with a MAC valve but rather it removes the need to always use one in every case.

Dudical,

Where did you get that 3 spoke ring that holds your nozzle. You had posted a while back I believe and it was mounted inside the intercooler pipe. I'm interested, it looked like the way it was installed allowed better flow without hitting pipe walls...

hey sorry the server is down. I was using storage space on the server of my old university and they seemed to have caught on, lol. It only took them 18 months, haha.

Will have a new server up soon.

Is jet/nozzle location still best between the bov and tb? Any other thoughts on this?

Also, what about the optimal vertical/horizontal placement on the pipe?

I know it has been almost 16 years, since this thread was last active. Links are no longer available and it hasn't been easy to find more recent information on the best optiosns for installing meth injection on my Evo 8. Anyone still around that can point me in the right direction?

Thanks!,
