Problem with HFS-1

Hey i'm having a problem with my hfs-1 it was spraying all day then all of a sudden it stopped spraying. The failsafe is not kicking in and none of the fuses are blown. The bars on the gauge arn't turning on at all but it's still running 30psi? any idea's?

If your are spraying all day, could the pump's thermal cut-out switched in?

Have you checked and tested the fail safe system before this?

Once the red led is on on the DDS3 JB, the pump will run. If the pump does not run, the thernal cut out is activated.

I gathered you didn't run the system continuously all day? If the water flow is not detacted during boost, the failsafe should kick in within 63ms. Pin the water jet on the window and see if you get any spray.

How is the dials set on the WH and WL visually?

i have the middle knob was about 2 clicks back from all the way right then it stopped spraying so i turned it all the way to the right to see if the failsafe would kick in and it didnt but when i turn the gauge off it turns the boost down to 12 psi. If its in thermal cut off how do I get out of that?

I am abit confused whoe your system is working at present - it appeared to be the trigger point is not set ideally relative to the wastegate pressure of 12psi.

I can give you a call and do some realtime diagnostic work, it would be handy if you have a voltameter. Justy email me an ideal time for me to call. Pm me your phone #.

Richard - We fixed the problem. The trigger wire tapped into the Injector signal came loose and the system was not being triggered. Once reconnected the failsafe and boost worked as expected.
