the delivery of methanol by the HFS-1 is very constant and virtually rippleless/pulseless - knowing your injector size and duty, you can easily calculate it. the published octane number of meth i've seen is ~110-115...also there is the latent heat of vaporization part which contributes to the anti-knock property.
