If the Flambaeu tanks are not liked try a 1 gal fuel cell, at least with with these theres room (because of the wide filler opening) to allow for fuel cell foam to be installed. Price for this solution is typically under $80.00
I have a 1 gallon cell that I'm going to install and it came with foam, but I assumed that the foam wouldn't be methanol compatible. You've got one of those cells in your SRT-4, right -- do you use foam? If so, what kind?

I used to use a Summit Jr Dragster 1 gallon fuel cell. It was in my opinion a perfect supply tank since it was not a fuel enrichment tank = did not have extra fittings (AN bulkhead) for fuel delivery and return. It had one ball check valve feed type fitting and one external vent with a large fuel filler opening. The fuel cell makers have extra hardware for extended and angled filler necks as well as remote filler mounting, and tank mounting straps so basically the tank even though designed for jr dragsters had the same qualities of a traditional fuel cell. I mounted my tank to a go cart engine mounting plate and hung it and the pump setup from my rear strut bar. I now have two 6 qt Flambeau tanks and a custom mounting setup that both tanks and the pump are mounted to.

Did you use foam in the cell? I have the same one. BTW, does yours say JAZ on the side?

Also wanted to add that most fuel enrichment tanks that typically get mounted in the trunk for nitrous setups are more taller then squat and this is done so as to minimize fuel slosh.......same is true for W/A supply since the same laws of physics apply

Yes I did use the foam but at the time my setup was 70/30 water methanol. I did not check into if the foam had issues with methanol.....................hmmmm I need to double check that.

Summit part, looks the same as the other name brands.

I ordered the Summit part too, but I got a Jaz cell. Looks just like that but says JAZ on the side.

He is absolutely correct. I wouldn't run that tank for Meth either.

I thought Nick was crazy with 2 tanks. That there just puts my 1/2 gallon tank to shame

hahaha that doesn't even make sense ^^^^^ are you really that lazy to just refill it every once in a while? think about all the unnecessary excess weight.

I think at a certain point too large of a supply of methanol in something other than a fuel cell would raise eyebrows at tech inspection, particularly at a road racing event.
