I am looking to see who here has blown a motor on meth from a lack of flow.

I mean I know I personally played with my own evo trying to blow the motor while on parkway in 4th and man did the stock ecu pull timing fast and car felt like I hit a brick wall...the stock ecu is one amazing piece of technology...

 

It happens. Piston tops, detonation, ring damage, bearing failure, etc. This is why it is so important to have the proper safeguard, wideband and boost cut features in place beforehand, actively protecting your engine.

 

Well im just interested to hear who has on here...theres so much talk of it but I just haven't seen it you know...I just want to have a thread to discuss all of them...

my IX...i'm playing it safe - 1200cc/min meth with 12.0AFR @30psig

I think there were three SRT-4 owners that I remember off using 100% methanol and fuel tuning piggybacks that I know of that blew there motors. They had tuned for a working methanol injection system.
