meth price sux now. I paid $48.16 today for a VP 5gal drum M1. Last month is was $43..i was like "it's normally about $30 bux!?" Guy was like, "nah, prices went up along with the race gas" He showed me the book with their *new* price. It's a 30min drive for the meth...i couldn't be bothered. Today I paid the $48 and didn't even say anything. I then put half a tank of 103 because I didn't have time to stop at a regular gas station. That cost me $46 and the car feels the same 
...what a waste of money. Could've had a full tank with change left over ...

i think they ripped you jeff..... idk... i always call before i go in, couple times ive called, got a price then when i went in they told me a different price...
you need to run more boost with the 103 to lean it out some more.....

It's not the regular guys on the weekend...I call just to make sure they are open and i don't drive all that way for nothing. I am definitely researching something cheaper and local for me. I don't need a fancy *blue* drum.

if you find soemthign else and are craving those blue drums i have 4 empty ones in my garage and another will be empty in about a week since im tuning the new setup on pump/meth =-)
i need to switch to a stronger kit... going to do a 220 snow pump with 2 possibly, 3 nozzles... the m15 isnt cutting it with the smc pump ... im at 545/440 so far at only 28 pounds.. i still have another 6 pounds to go til the turbos maxed out

meth prices are up because it's winter time and the price of meth is tied to the price of natural gas. Alwas goes up in the winter and down in the summer. Best bet is to get a 55 gal drum at the begining of summer and another at the end of summer before the winter price hike.

Dont forget about the cost of transporting the methanol has gone up as well. They have to pay to have it shipped to them and the cost of shipping must be factored in and has sky rocketed over the last year.

I paid 40$ for a 5 gallon sealed drum of VP M1 at CFT. But I heard you can go to VP's website and check for local deals around you that sell the meth and at how much

I found 98% meth for $1 a gallon by my house. I still haven't been able to confirm the purity.

What do you guys use to measure that stuff when you're mixing it?
What kind of containers do you use to hold teh mixture? I'm thinking of just using a 5gal gas container, and adding 2 gallons of water, 3 gallons meth. That shouldn't be to bad eh?
I still haven't opened the container because I just got the kit in the mail today, and my engine is at the machine shop. Would it hurt to run straight water (distilled) throught the pump just to make sure it works before I leave feedback to the dude who sold it to me (stage 2 snow kit)?
