Snow Performance Boost Solenoid Problem..

All:

I've had my Meth kit for about 4 months now. I never really drove the car hard (racing it) until a month ago. I've noticed that when I hit it hard and switch gears, that the boost only goes to 15psi for a second or so inbetween shifts until I get full boost (25psi). I've troubleshot it down to the fact that the boost control solenoid (from the Safe Injection Kit) must not be working properly and opening the solenoid inbetween shifts, allowing the wastegate to open, then closes and I get all my boost again. I've disabled the solenoid (breaking ground) for now until I figure out if the Safe Injection Kit was installed properly.

Any suggestions on how it should've been hooked up? I'm not even sure if I have the upgraded solenoid that allows flow to stop instantly (even though my tank was installed in the trunk). I went to the webpage but there are no instructions on installing the Safe Injection Kit. The original Meth kit appears to be working but I doubt the Safe Injection was installed properly. Also, when the boost solenoid bleeds back boost, the orange light doesn't illuminate (which it should).

when does your kit turn on boost wise... what safeinjection do you have the si05 or the si10?

The kit starts to spray when boost is at 11psi. I'm not sure which Safe Injection kit I have. The module which accepts the flow line is near my battery, what should I look for?

If I punch it in one gear and let out, it's fine. Acceleration is smooth and there is no knock.

Not sure what nozzle. I know it's not the larger sizes that came with the kit. My tuner told me that those were too much for my stock turbo.

Well what I am thinking is that you have a 375 nozzle and a si10 unit and the nozzle isn't flowing enough to keep the si10 from triggering...it could be other things though...

Sensor is seeing no flow for a split second while pump is getting first voltage, the SI sol is energized. Your only option, if sensitivity is already backed up, would be to widen your start and full margin's or find a solenoid withgreater resistance coil (3 port)

That's what I figured. Is there such a solenoid from Snow? How come noone else is seeing this?

If that was the case, I'd see the problem on full throttle in any gear without switching gears. It would've been noticed on the dyno right away.

You can try turning the actiavation delay all the way up. Adjust the delay potentiometer fully counter-clockwise.
