My Aquamist 2D to HFS-5 Conversion
The HSV on the 2d is basically limited by the race pump's capacity and pressure when the flow remains is in excess of 500cc/min.
If you put a Shurflo behind the HSV, it will allow in excess of 1,800cc/min at 125psi.
The HSV's flow can be extended by increase the piston lift. We have opted for the existing configuration, rarely anyone needs more than 1,800cc/min.
The two systems cannot be compared.

Richard you always bring facts to the table that are new! Always testing! Just when I think I know something

It is always misleading when comparing the 2d and the HFS. You as a Aquamist vendor, it is often very confusing because you stock both systems. As regarding the HSV, it flow differently depending on the system.
To make matter more confusing, the race pump's pressure is pulsed at constant 50Hz (two-stroke pum). You don't get the full pressure full time like the pulseless Shurflo (+ accumulator). There are some folks like yourself add an accumulator on the race pump to increase its capacity (filling the gap between the pulses). From 300cc/min to ~370cc/min.

CA gas is the worst i think.
was that 44bhp gain at the wheels?
just read that thread! awesome you can tell he got the tune right by the graphs on meth exactly copied your non meth runs but with just more torque more power.
loving the airbox mod too.
ps. where can i get that filter/bracket mod?

Update From The Last Update: Boost Issues Fixed

Well, I was re-tuned this past Saturday. I now added a 3-Port Boost Solenoid and an ETS 3.5" Intercooler. Can't really say how much the bigger intercooler helped, but I figure it didn't hurt. The new DLL numbers are now 385 HP and 358 ft lbs tq. The boost now peaked at about 27-28 psi and held over 22 psi to redline. I'm very impressed with the performance of the FP White. Excellent stock like spool up and driveabilty. I'm very happy with the results and would like to thank Richard again for such a great water and alcohol injection system. Here's a link to the SoCal Evo thread that my tuner started for some more detailed info: http://www.socalevo.net/index.php?op...=71487.new#new.

Update-Added 1 More Jet To My Set Up
I decided to add another 1mm jet to my set up. I am now running three 1mm jets. With the help from Jeff at Howerton Engineering, he supplied me with a Silicone/Rubber Boost Tube Coupler to mount my third jet. My other two 1mm jets are still mounted in the stock UICP. Jeff also supplied me with a complete compression fitting upgrade for my HFS-5. Everything worked out great. My next upgrade will be four smaller jets in a direct injection set up mounted in the stock intake manifold, but that will be further down the road. Here’s some pics:

I was able to get re-tuned this past Wednesday. I'm still running a 50/50 water/methanol mix. I chose to still run about the same boost as before. My tuner was able to run about 2 more degrees of timing by redline. The addition of the extra jet made the A/F ratio richer. He had to lean out the injectors a bit to maintain about a 12:1 A/F ratio. Attached is the latest DLL road dyno chart compared to the last one.

While the peak to peak power only increased by 11 hp, the max gain in the area under the curve was a good 24 hp. The torque gain was at 16 ft-lb. Peak torque, however was unchanged. All in all I'm happy with the results. The car pulls stronger to redline. I'd like to thank my tuner Naji again for a great re-tune.
