air fuel ratio with 50/50 water/methanol

so, what do you guys recommend af ratio for evo8 with green turbo, tbe, IC, 50/50 methanol/water injection(aquamist hfs5)?

i am at 11.1-11.3 from spool up to red line.

is it safe to lean out more? like to 11.5-11.7's?? with methanol/water injection?

Yes it is safe to lean it out but for everyday safety (road course safety) I would lean out max of 11.7 down to 11.5 by redline on a EVO8. Evo 9 11.8-9 down to 11.5-6. Also what is your timing at?

it depends on your injectant to fuel ratio...

iirc, if you are still using the 2 jets that was installed when the system was 1st installed...you will be able to tune in the 12s...

proceed with caution.

thanks evan...
i guess i will try to lean out just a little bit...

changed some parts lately...
i haven't touched the timing.

still get knocks in lower gears, like 1st and 2nd gear...
rpm rises so quick that evoscan can't even datalog much.

Here's an image of the color rings on the jets the color indicates sizes

Here's the chart with the color to size

Take a quick peak underhood at the installed jets and cross reference to the chart.

Here's a correlation of the jet versus flow using the Aquamist/Shuflow pump

Nice to see people who were in on the GB's still enjoying the kits

I am currently at 11.1 pretty much throughout RPM range at WOT....I am going to try to lean a tad to get closer to 11.5 (and see how the car responds)...I am curious if anyone has logged HP increase from 11.0 to 11.5 -- I'd be surprised if it is more than a few HP at most, but that is a pure guess...

I can't honestly say how much of a hp increase, however when I leaned mine from 11.2 to 11.5 I noticed the car pulled through 3rd gear a couple tenths of a sec quicker...So far the car is liking it.
