I am using a -4 braided line so can i get this pump with fittings to work with that?. In your opinion do i need to order 1 or 2 pumps to have the appropriate flow.

Thanks

One of these pumps will feed your nozzles, do not have a version for -4AN, yet....

What's the typical current draw and peak before tripping?

I know it's different depending on the voltage it's getting but for say 8vdc and 12 vdc

Typical pump current is 4amps, max current is 9amps if the pump is dead headed.

Dan

you say its safe for ethanol so does that mean we can inject e85....or will the gas in e85 still mess the pump up.....e85 is just so much cheaper then meth for me.

I am guessing that this pump is plug-n-play with your older kits? Meaning, if i wanted this new pump I could just replace my old 150psi pump with this unit.

Good question, have not done any testing with e85. Don't initially see why it would be a problem, but will need to get some and test out.

Best regards,

Dan

What would be the reason for pumping e85 through a system? No gain to have. Probably won't work right with the 15% nonpolar solvent. The same reason poison control advises you not to induce vomiting after consuming mineral spirits

are you going to modify the firmware of the VCS3G in order to select this type of pump ?

best regards

Yes will be making a firmware change to more closely match the performance of the new pump. Will keep the flow maps for the 150 pumps for those that want to up grade and existing system to the VCS3G controller. For right now, the VCS3G has a 220pump option. This would use flow maps that are closer the the new pump then the 150 pump option.

Best regards,

Dan
