Recirculate BOV with WI

Hi guys,
I know everybody is thinking different with this question but is someone already tried to recirculate with WI? (supposing WI nozzle is installed just after IC)
I am a bit desperate cause of the VTA bug in 5th & 6th gear and I dont plan to go MAP already...
Thank you for your replies.
Cheers.

a valved system stops unecessary jetting of injectant when injection event is over.
left = valved, right = no valve

Someone tested this a while back on the waterinjection.info boards.

They stumbled accross the data when measuring how different jet placements effect cooling.

Anyway they found that it operates somewhat like pre turbo injection....because it pretty much is. The extra meth gets sucked back into the turbo. It cooled the charge air such that the temps recorded at the turbo outlet were significantly lower.

However, with that being said I'm not sure what danger it posses to the compressor blades on the turbo as pre turbo injection is known to be potentially damaging.

I don't recall if the person who conducted those tests was using a aquamist system with valve.

Abner - how many miles do you have on your car since setting up meth injection? I imagine it can't be doing much damage if your still going strong for this long. Have you inpected the trubo impeller since install?

Thank you guys for your help.
I am not sure about the "sandblast" effect... For some who knew and remember the old Renault 5 Alpine Turbo, engine was boosted thru a T3 with aspirated carburetor...so it could not be "that bad"... I have seen those cars with 120,000 kms and running good.
I know, it was just 0.42 bar but....
I tried to find some R5AT info in english to share but it's very hard...

Have a nice WE.

It's a turbo BUG...(VW flat 4)
It is not exactly the kind of work I like but the guy get 200HP @ 1.3 bar!!!

Check the run vs a Golf VR6 !!!! That's fun....
