hi im about to install a meth kitt sat and i was wondering how much boost can i run with stock internals and all i have is a injen intake and intercooler kit flash exaust and nothing to big...
im about to go get a fresh tune and do my timing belt pretty soon and get rod bolts and head studs and a fresh tune with the meth inn... but i was just wondering how much i could run just now without a tune or anything for like a week safely im running 23 psi to 24 psi would it be ok to go to 26 thanks and ill prob bee running 50 50 meth water and i have an 06 evo mr thanks

it depends on a lot of variables...i personally wouldn't run it until you get tuned...

I recently went meth to. im running around 26-27psi and feels great. I say dont do anyting until you get tuned with it. Also I just found corrosion on my intake pipe and am in the process of changing to stainless steel so you might wanna do the same.

my pipe is powdercoated black will it still rust

If you have to run it, put in a small nozzle, and fill with distilled water. Start cleaning things up

 

Well to be honest I think you need to open that thing up a lil before pushing lots of boost. Get yourself a downpipe and exhaust you could tune the car at 24 on pump and with 50/50 mix I'd say 26-28psi would be decent

On my old motor and when I had a evo 8 turbo I was pushing 32psi but the motor that's in car now and the 9 turbo I'm only at 28psi right now

 

yea i already got an exhaust and down pipe lol i prob will just to start cleaning it up but ill prob just wait for a tune better safe then sorry im deciding to maybe do what u said did u have any problems with the meth like that i was planning on running 50 50
