Meth or Alcohol?
the only reason 100% meth will make you the most power is if you're limited on your fueling ie maxed out your injectors. i'm convinced that a water/methanol blend of some kind is the best way to go assuming you have the fuel to support it.
I agree. Water will absorb twice the heat that methanol does CC per CC, and it is tremendously good at slowing the flame front in a high temperature/high pressure environment. All that without drastically changing a fuel tune, and it is safer in a general sense too.
[QUOTE=Chef-j;7699895]I used boost juice from snow performance when i had snow kit on my Z. Easy and inexpensive.
Not sure how you can call $10/gallon shipped inexpensive when one gallon of -20 WWF and two bottles of HEET will get you the same results for around $3.50 with 24 more oz of fluid.

There is no definitive answer to the questions what ratio is better - all depends on what your goals are for a water injection system. We have customers that use 100% water to 100% methanol. Some are looking for additional intake cooling or extra margin of safety for detonation control. While at the other end for 100% methanol, it is being used as a secondary fueling system. You will find all kinds of hp posts or dyno runs showing similar power gains from various mixtures.
Optimal performance will be seen based on how correctly the system regulates and atomizes the spray along with how well the car is tuned. For choosing the correct mix need to evaluate your performance goals and choose the correct mix that works best for your modifications and tuning.
50/50 is the most common referred to mix as it is safe and produces good results with little to no tuning, but not ideal for everyone.

^Edit: the reason I said because its premix, compare to get a meth and mix iitself. Its cheaper if you mix itself and receive more, but I saw few people end up couldn't even use it all because it got flat out. But to be honest, I knew about -20 WWF, but didn't know you can mix that with heet. Hummm good to know it makes same result. How long it will last long? Thanks

Mixing the -20 with Heet will produce a mix that has the same longevity as Boost Juice. Any water/methanol mix (or pure methanol for that matter) will absorb water from the ambient air and gradually have a lower methanol concentration. But keeping it sealed securely in a plastic container will greatly extend its life. So if you are mixing your own, it's often best to do it in smaller batches and use the fluid as you go.
1 gallon of -20 blue washer fluid (33% methanol) mixed with 36 fluid OZ of methanol makes for roughly a 47/53 water/methanol mixture by volume. Heet generally comes in a 8 or 12 OZ bottle. Keep in mind that you then have about 1.3 gallons at that point.
