which part of the pump is actually taken apart and what am i looking for btw is there a how to or pictures of any?

all the gaskets is what you want to look at

the one under the metal plate on top can bought from here and replaced with a brass fitting. he is also very helpful for state side support

parts list for rebuild. The list at the bottom is available from Jeff Howerton.

trust me fixing it w/ RTV is a lot cheaper and worth the try....and if that fails get a new pump.


part #3 on the diagram can be replaced with a brass fitting from howerton (the factory plastic fitting leaks a lot.

i will get a pic of my pump tomorrow to show you where i put the RTV.

a new pump is like $200...RTV is like $5. just make sure it cures for 24hrs. and I already did some research on RTV and meth. and it is not corrosive.

can the fittings on the hsv be switched out for the brass compression fittings as well?? if so im going to need a total of 6 fittings (2 for pump, 2 for hsv and 2 for flow sensor) right?

Howerton has a metal compression conversion kit specially for the HFS-5 (HE102), see link below.

okay im in my garage right now messing with it as i type this.. did the jet test.. put it into a water bottle to see if its spraying correct and it filled up a 5L bottle half way using the 1.0 jet.. whats the next thing i should test for let me know ASAP thanks..

i also looked at the pump followed the lines and fittings for any leaks..NONE! still noticed that the yellow LED still comes on as it sprays only 2 bars oh and its about 65ish degrees in the garage pretty warm

it sounds like you need to tune to DDS3 box or something...is there anyone in your area that could take a look at it?

thats the thing the car has been tuned only drive it on weekends really and it just happened randomly didnt mess with SC knob thingy on the flow meter gauge either

i took my hsv out looks like the 2 wires (brown and red) were kinked and kinda touching..would this cause anything? any polarity on these?.. how should i go about cleaning it just incase it was clogged

ideally where should the SC be set to?.. as in default i know its user preference.. but want to know if maybe mines was off to low WL to begin with because if i turn my SC almost all the way clock wise the bars go 100% and the yellow LED goes away wheni turn it almost to the 10oclock position??.. anyone chime in please im also running just water to test.. had it running for like 10 minutes just to clear any previous alcohol just incase it was contaminated
