Hey guys, I like making power. Recently, I ditched my HTA35R because I'm worried about a $1700 turbo leaving me with nothing if it blows. I was looking at both a 6262 and 6265 because I want to make some crazy HP, but the bigger I go, the less torque I'll make. I figured, why not run the 6262 with an Aquamist kit at ~35psi every day and make awesome torque and power.

Ideas?

hah well it won't really apply since I have an Audi (I like getting some knowledge from you guys) but for reference I made 441awhp on pump 93 on a Mustang before.

I wanted 500awhp on straight pump, but I'd be past that with either decision I choose so I guess I'll throw that out the window. I guess the question is which one would be a better street car but still make crazy power? I know smaller turbos with more boost (meth) make awesome torque, that's why I'm leaning towards the 6262. But, maybe it'd be nice to just get a 6765 and call it a day.

Yea I guess it doesnt, the HTA82 is not that far apart from the 6262 as power is concerned and the HTA86 makes a little more power than the 6262, the 6765 is too laggy for the street from the dynos that I've seen. Just stay with whatever turbo you got right now and add some E85 or meth you'll be happy, I havent really seen any of these turbos blow up on anyone so dont worry to much about that. Good luck

Thanks man, I guess I'll do the 6262 with meth. The aquamist HFS-6 looks awesome. How much boost do you guys usually run with meth?

How ever much the motor likes, for us we can run 30psi on pump and maybe 35-36psi on meth for DD, it's up to you really and how much you think the motor can take of an everyday beating.

well I can do 30psi no problem. I'm sure these turbos like a lot of boost
